Tottenham 3-1 QPR

Tottenham took the spoils in this afternoons London derby.

areth Bale was first to hit the back of the net with a powerful strike past Paddy Kenny on 20 minutes.

13 minutes later and Van der Vaart put Spurs on the path to  all three points with a stylish finish.

QPR were marketable improved in the second half with Jay Bothroyd nodding home after 63 minutes.

Redknapp’s men had to withhold some heavy pressure before sealing the victory in the 72nd minute with a beautiful curled finish from their Welsh maestro, Bale.

The win stretched their unbeaten run to seven games and bumped them up to sixth place with games in hand on everyone above them.
