The shoes are inspired by a ballerinas most important accessory and were created by the French designer to raise money for the English National Ballet.
The eight inch heels are covered head to very pointed toe in Swarovki crystals.
The shoes are of course not meant for walking, shopping trips or other girly exploits, these heels are purely for display.
The 47 year old’s killer heels are on display in the Shoes for Show exhibition in Brick Lane, East London. The exhibition aims to show off the sculptural art of high heels.
When describing the heels Louboutin said: ” Isn’t the classical dancing slipper the ultimate heel?”
Other artists showing at the exhibition include British Fashion Awards winner Nicholas Kirkwood, whose shoe shaped art work is titled Alice in Wonderland heels.
